Recorded on the 9th of June 2004 in the evening at the main building of Tomsk State University (at 5628N, 8456E). Background species: Ficedula hypoleuca, Passer montanus, Parus major.

Arrives late in spring. In Tomsk and its suburbs appears in the final third of May or early June.

A bird of open territories whose natural breeding habitat is in colonies on cliffy river banks. Also breeds in cities under the roofs and in cavities of multistoried buildings. Common species, abundant in the south of the region. Not found in Seversk and in the north of Tomsk.
