Recorded on the 2d of June 2002 in the southern Tomsk suburbs (thin deciduous woodland; at 56°25N, 84°58E). Background species: Phylloscopus trochilus, Sylvia communis, Acrocephalus dumetorum, Corvus cornix, Loxia curvirostra. |

![]() Arrives after the foliage expansion. In the Tomsk outskirts appears in the second half of May. Bird of open woody territories. Inhabits woodland edges and bushy areas among floodplain forests. Rare, the western distribution limit of this species crosses the region. It is more often seen in the south and east of the region. Sings from the end of May until mid-July. |
