Recorded on the 3rd of April 2005 in the southern Tomsk suburbs (floodplain grasslands; at 56°26N, 84°57E). Background species: Corvus cornix.

Common in our latitudes all the year round. Resident.

Inhabits various types of habitats. Has large territory, roams widely. Avoids human settlements. 

The call can be heard at any time of the year.
